250-gallon used oil storage tank. Oil staining was observed on soil beneath tank, and on surrounding asphalt. Soil samples documented the vertical extent of oils and heavy metals, to 18 inches in depth.
The removal of impacted soil was required to satisfy purchaser. Tenant self-performed the soil removal with offsite disposal at landfill. The old oil tank was crushed and a new oil tank was placed inside of garage.
