Sundance oversaw the waste management for the decommissioning of a trailer park, water treatment plant, and other farm structures. The vacating tenants left chemicals spilled on the ground, such as this 4-pound box of Carbola Dry Insecticide, “the disinfecting white paint.” Active Ingredients: 2% Dichloro Diphenyl Trichloroethane, aka DDT.

The spilled DDT and other herbicide and pesticide chemicals were shoveled up from the ground along with several inches of soil, and placed in drums for offsite disposal as hazardous waste. This land is being prepared for redevelopment as a new water treatment plant.
