Redevelopment of Berry Property, Georgetown

Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments were performed and historic heavy metals contamination was remediated under the Voluntary Cleanup Program to support redevelopment for both residential and commercial land use. The remedial approach consisted of covering impacted soils with an orange identification layer, capping the site with clean fill and clean sediments dredged from the lake, and following a Materials Management Plan for any foundation or utility excavations.
